A Day of Denouement
|
Thanks for the brill meal - Of sushi and heartening conversations over our 3 warm cups of green tea
I borrowed Shel Silverstein's A Light in the Attic today and I think I am a phase too late becos it was in the Junior lending Section. But anyhow, a book full of wisdom in disguise resists age :-)

Peckin'
The saddest thing I ever did see
Was a woodpecker peckin' at a plastic tree.
He looks at me, and "Friend," says he,
"Things ain't as sweet as they used to be."
:::
We all have a woodpecker and its friend in us, peace.
