"Joshua charged his people: �Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.� To consecrate is to cleanse, to make holy, to set apart�and so many of us miss out on the �wonders� of God because we refuse to be thus purified. We don�t take the time to grow the kind of faith that believes that God will instruct and lead us to the best way, guiding each step, knowing exactly what He is doing. We are more comfortable with the idea of going with just anything, or anyone, that seems �good enough.� Too many of us see only the good things and settle for them, when God�s heart hurts because He wants so much to give us the best. And what greater joy and pleasure than to know God Himself? What greater love?

I have said this many times before, but I find myself often in need of reminder� God�s best is not yet to come; God�s best is Jesus here now."
